Schuller and Jon Emmony - are heading off to the south of France to cover
the International Festival de Hyères 2013.
We've joined forces with Mercedes-Benz to bring live coverage straight from
the event. The buzz and beauty of the 28th international festival of
fashion and photography will be captured in a social media feed of curated

Fashion* interview with Lou Stoppard, in which he spoke about his
much-celebrated career in the fashion industry. An edited version of the

show Punk, Chaos to Couture. At 1.30 in the morning Ruth sent me this, the
many different layers on her Final Cut Pro time line, which shows the
complexity of some of the films she is putting together.

Today is the last day of the International Europeana Fashion
Conference!It's also the date of a panel discussion analysing new media
in fashion,
which SHOWstudio was invited to be part of.
The panel raised interesting conclusions about new forms of

The incredibly talented Úna Burke is the second creative to collaborate
with SHOWstudio on our re-imagined gallery space, the *SHOWcabine*t. Our
team have been busy working away in our new Motcomb Street gallery and the
exhibition is now installed and open to the public!
Burke's beautiful leather bound pieces take centre stage within the latest
exhibition, which looks at the original understanding of the word

Florence and SHOWstudio has been invited to speak on a panel discussing new
media in fashion on 18 April. Marie Schuller will join Diane Pernet from
ASVOFF, Gabriele Monti from the IUAV University in Venice, Anja Cronberg,
editor of ACNE Paper, designer Fabio Quaranta, and Geer Oskam from the

To coincide with the launch of our latest exhibition, *SHOWcabinet:
Prosthetics*, filmmaker Marie Schuller collaborated with designer Una Burketo create a mesmerising fashion
film. Inspired by Burke's interest in movement and restriction, the short
films sees her intricate armour-like leather creations transformed into
human-size puppets that dance and writhe eerily before the camera. Speaking

Our latest SHOWcabinet* *in collaboration with Úna Burke is close to
completion, with an intriguing array of artefacts now installed!
To coincide with the installation's opening, Burke and SHOWstudio's head of
fashion film Marie Schuller will launch an exclusive film that sees the
designer's leather sculpture creations come alive on-screen. The film be
available to view on SHOWstudio.com and also will be screened in our
gallery space as part of the exhibition.

Nick Knight's 'Flora' works feature in the latest A Magazine

Remember our wonderful *Flora* exhibition that featured beautiful - and
giant - floral photography from Nick Knight? Well his delicate pastel rose
artworks are immortalised in (smaller) print in the latest copy of *A
Magazine, *curated by brilliant milliner Stephen Jones. The magazine also
features our dynamic drawing project with Celia Birtwell, which saw her
equipped with the world's first quill nails by Marian Newman, as well as a
diverse range of other illustration-themed images.

Guinness, the talented Úna Burke is in our Motcomb Street studios hard at
work installing our second cabinet of wonders!
For April's SHOWcabinet, our re-imagined gallery space, we present objects
under the theme of prosthetics. Focusing on the original Greek meaning of
the word 'prosthetic', which meant 'to add', 'to advance' or 'to give power
to', the pieces on show engage with prosthetics' ability to adorn, equip
and enhance.
