Nick Knightcalled Peter Vernon to ask him about his iconic shot of the Sex Pistols in the latest of our Punk: Photographyinterviews. The photographer recalls taking his much reproduced shot of the the original line up of the Sex Pistols, which became one of the defining images of punk the day it ended up on the front page of the Daily Mirror. Vernon describes the brief process of taking his 'one off' photograph at the EMI studios in Soho, and knowing in the moment how strong it was.
